Gabby Shepard (QUEEN)


Gabby Shepard: Gaby was born in Sacramento and earned her undergraduate degree in English Literature with a double minor in Africana Studies and Film Studies from Agnes Scott College in Atlanta Georgia. She graduated as an MFA Film and Television Producing Program Fellow in the Conservator of Motion Pictures at Chapman University. While there, she produced films that have been programmed in numerous film festivals. Her thesis film "The Homecoming" went to Austin Film Festival, Pan African Film Festival, and Milwaukee Film Festival. Her short fan film based on the superhero Static Shock, "Electrogenesis", screened at Long Beach Comic Con and Cannes Short Film Corner. Her directorial debut "Queen" Premiered at Austin film festival as it kicks off its festival circuit. Most recently she wrote and directed "Candid" as a part of the AT&T Hello Lab Mentorship Program under the mentorship of Octavia Spencer. Gabby is a Writer, Director and Producer who fresh and dynamic projects to bring to life.
